Harbor Cranes
The right solution from WESSEL Hydraulik for every industry.
1 Lock Valves for Outrigger Cylinders
Double check valves in cartridge design can be screwed directly into the outrigger cylinder. The valve provides protection against a load dropping in the event of a line break in the supply lines. The valves are designed as pilot-operated valves. Hardened components (seat and cone) guarantee zero leakage in the rest position and a long service life. The valve is suitable for up to max. 70 lpm and can withstand pressures up to 500 bar. A screw-in housing is available for the valve.
2 Lowering Brake Valve for Winches – MotionOne
The newly developed MotionOne lowering brake valve is suitable for motor-cylinder applications and is the right choice when it comes to precisely controlling and positioning high loads with up to 600 l/min. The modular design with various control options ensures maximum flexibility during commissioning. The MotionOne is suitable for applications with low to high vibration susceptibility. The newly developed damping cartridge is particularly suitable for applications with high vibration susceptibility. In accordance with the modular system, users can essentially choose between a standard cover with and without pressure relief valve, electrical proportional control, or the newly developed damping cartridge for the MotionOne.
3 Directional Control Valve with Position Monitoring
A 6/2 directional control valve allows the volume flow downstream of a main section to be distributed to 2 consumers as required. The switching can be performed electrically, hydraulically, or via manual lever on the pilot control of the 6/2 directional control valve. Position monitoring enables the actual switching position of the directional control valve to be monitored and processed in a safety control system.
4 Flow Divider 2-6 Way
The valve can be used in a harbor handling machine. The flow divider ensures load-pressure-independent volume flow distribution for up to 6 consumers. The valve consists of an inlet section for pump connections A and B. One consumer can be controlled in both directions per section, making the flow divider suitable for double-acting consumers such as hydraulic motors on travel drives (forward, reverse).
5 Securing Luffing Gear – Load Compensation
When lowering the boom, the load pressure acting on the hose rupture valve increases. The higher pressure differential leads to an increase in lowering speed with standard hose rupture valves. With Type 3E, the load pressure increase is detected and the lowering speed is automatically reduced at high loads. This hose rupture valve can be controlled hydraulically proportional or electrically-proportional.
