Pipe Rupture Protection
In the event of a pipe or hose burst, hose burst protection valves prevent uncontrolled cylinder movement. In some countries, hose burst protection valves are required by law when load handling or lifting operations are carried out with construction machinery. They are used to position a boom precisely and stably and enable smooth, uniform movement. WESSEL hose burst protection valves are characterized by very good sensitivity and very direct transmission of joystick movement. They are also always leak-oil-free. The hose burst protection valve in design 4K (compact design) is also suitable for the smallest installation spaces.
