Load-holding valve for cylinders
Application description
Load-holding valve for cylinders
For vibration-prone cylinder applications with flow rates from 5 to 60 l/min and maximum pressures up to 450 bar.
Multi-stage masts moved by cylinders often tend to vibrate. If damping is insufficient, this can also be caused by the actuation of a cylinder. The often necessary reduction of actuator speed and clamping of the cylinders can be avoided by selecting WESSEL valves. Hardened steel for the housing and spool ensures high wear resistance and safety!
The valves can be connected using a hollow bolt or with 4 screws. Variants are available for one (single valve) or both cylinder sides (double valve).
Features
– Leakage-free seats in the hardened steel housing
– Load-pressure-independent opening of the control spool
– Control spool throttle cross-sections matched to the cylinder
– High damping characteristics
– Separate pressure relief valve: the opening point can be selected independently of the PRV setting.
– Can be flanged directly onto the cylinder
