Load holding valve for stick cylinder prevent uncontrolled cylinder movement in the event of a pipe or hose rupture. In some countries, hose rupture protection valves are legally required when performing load or lifting operations with construction machinery. They serve to position a boom precisely and stably and enable uniform motion sequences. Load holding valves can compensate for leakage at spools in main control units of older construction machinery.
