QSV-2N Quick-stop valve for stopping hydraulic motors  

The quick-stop valve is used to bring a hydraulic motor to a standstill in the shortest possible time, controlled by an electronic signal.

It can be used wherever extremely short reaction times are required when stopping a hydraulic motor. One area of application is in forage harvesters, where the intake rollers for the chopped material must be abruptly stopped if metallic objects enter the intake. The quick-stop valve is flanged directly onto the motor.
