Speed Valves

The speed valves enable the fast extension of a differential cylinder. For this purpose, a connection of the rod side of the cylinder is switched to the bottom side. This reduces the effective area of the cylinder and its force accordingly. When a defined working pressure is exceeded, the speed valve disconnects the bar side to bottom side connection of the cylinder and the entire effective area generates the full cutting force
