The valve is operated directly electrically. The special feature is its pressure resistance up to 420 bar. With directional control valves 4/2 and 4/3, dual-acting consumers can be operated or pilot control signals can be manipulated. 4/2: In the unactuated position the consumer is activated in one direction. In the actuated position, the consumer is operated in the other direction. 4/3: In the unactuated position the consumer is usually not activated. In the two actuated positions, the consumer is operated in one direction or the other.
