The manually operated flow control valve divides the inlet flow into a smaller outlet flow and is used to supply a hydraulic consumer independently of load pressure. The valve can be used, for example, to set the desired speed for a scraper floor drive. The setting is made by adjustment via a handwheel. The consumer can be switched manually in the other direction by pressing the actuating button.

The valve can be used to operate two hydraulic motors in parallel or series. When the motors are switched to parallel operation, the motors generate high torque at half speed. When the valve is switched to series operation, the speed doubles at half torque. Typically, the valve is used for a scraper floor drive in loading machines. When unloading hay or grass, for example, this is done slowly at the beginning. To unload towards the end, the valve is switched to series operation to save time.

For towed machines. The 5/2 directional control valve connects the machine’s hydraulic drive motors from a freewheel position to the drive (the pump). When not actuated, the axle is not driven (towing mode). When actuated, the connection to the pump is established (drive). Flow rate: 30 l/min, 100 l/min, 200 l/min Maximum inlet pressure: 420 bar
