Oil Temperature Controller
Application description
Oil Temperature Controller OTC-A1
The valve is used in the cooler circuit of hydraulically operated machines. In the bypass to the oil cooler, it controls the amount that flows to the tank or through the cooler. The oil temperature controller enables temperature-dependent control of the oil flow. Using a thermocouple, a valve spool is continuously switched from its open position to a closed position.
This causes a pressure increase in the cooling pump circuit, which leads to an increase in the flow rate through the cooler. The valve is open at an oil temperature below 40°C, so that the oil flow returns to the tank uncooled. Above 55°C, the entire oil flow passes through the oil cooler.
