FDV-1N
The flow divider valve splits the flow into two equal 1:1 partial flows and is typically used in hydrostatic drives with hydraulic motors connected in parallel.
Axle drive with hydraulic differential
The S5/2 137.904.401.9 directional control valve and the 136.904.201.9 flow divider are designed for use in the powertrain of a grader or a comparable mobile working machine with a closed circuit. They are used to control an axle operated in either towing or drive mode, feeding motors with two displacements (e.g., Poclain wheel hub motors). The directional control valve serves to connect the machine's hydraulic drive motors from a freewheel position to the drive (the pump). When unswitched, the axle is not driven, placing it in towing mode. When switched, the connection to the pump is established. Since the pilot pressure is routed via the control spool, smooth switching is achieved. Furthermore, it is ensured that the motor pistons are held on the valve plate by the pressure. By using the flow divider, a uniform flow distribution to both drive motors can be achieved (hydraulic differential). The valve is highly suitable for flow rates up to 250 l/min.
