Our PRV-1PI pressure relief valve is a pilot-operated pressure relief valve suitable for various applications. For this series, we offer the valves as screw-in cartridges and with various functional housings. In its simplest version, a single-acting actuator (Example 1) is protected. For this purpose, the valve is installed in the pressure line leading to the actuator and connected to the tank. It is also possible to limit the maximum pressure for a specific attachment (Example 2) – when the valve is switched, the pressure is limited. This is useful if the factory setting of the machine should not be changed. Housings with double pressure limitation are also available for double-acting actuators, such as shears, pulverizers, and other tools.
